The Z Wedding Couture Runway show was met with rousing success last weekend! For this season, nature was imprinted on artistic gown designs and silhouettes. Inspired by the forests of Shakespeare’s Mid Summer Nights and the secret gardens of Alice in Wonderful, this whimsical feminine look strikes a soft but powerful figure on a bride.

For those who missed out on the limited and much sought after tickets, we encourage you to visit Z Wedding’s post show reveal at their boutique this weekend, 1st and 2nd April. It’s no April’s fool, be quick and RSVP! (Event page linked here: Behold Z Wedding’s Latest Noteworthy Collection)

Let’s do a throwback to the successful launch of the Z Wedding x Chijmes collaboration. It was a star studded night of fashion and glamour as the models strut down the runway in Z Wedding’s latest pieces. As the official photography and video partner of the night, we were pleased to see VIPs and guests enjoying themselves in their glitzy regalia. We were proud that a Singapore label can hold its own in the fashion industry.

Inspired by the fine details of Chijmes’ neo-gothic architecture, this collection aims to translate these key elements into bridal gowns. This architectural movement sees numerous subtle details adorned on the foundations of the building. Its key focus is bringing out the grand scale of a hall through intricate accents, rather then garish decorations. As such, Z Wedding created the Chijmes Wedding collection to emotionally connect with their brides. The play on details aims to bring out radiance, while the structural flow of the gown ensures the bride looks pristine. Like the intricate floral and bird motifs on Chijmes’ Corinthian columns, emphasis is placed on the gown’s line work and lace. The key is the meticulously hand crafted touches of embellishments on bold lace, creating a look that embodies soft femininity and glamour.

We can’t wait to see what Z Wedding comes up with next.

The “It” wedding that transpired just this past weekend belongs to Tim and Sabrina.

I felt very privileged Sabrina remembered our studio all these years, and that she trusted our team and our work. She is a gorgeous lady who was not at all a bridezilla, but a very warm personality that you would automatically feel a friendship with. It may be more then a coincidence that we share a mutual friend too. Jason Wong, we must indeed all catch up again!

With Tim, a long time ago when he was at Power 98 I was managing a retail shop and would leave his show on. In fact, I remembered calling in and winning a pair of concert tickets from him. His voice accompanied me throughout my afternoon shifts, and never did I imagine I would once again meet with that familiarity. And how does he always manage to get good hair days? I have never once seen him with a less then impeccable do.

Their matrimonial ceremony was held at the beautiful Armenian Church at Hill Street, followed by a night of fun, casual dining in Brazil Churrasco on Sixth Avenue. Their formal banquet in the evening of the next day was within the sprawling greens of Singapore Island Country Club.  Not only do they have elegant tastes, they definitely know how to throw a good party too.

Here’s to many years of marital bliss, congratulations Tim and Sabrina!

We’ll be uploading more pictures from their wedding on our Facebook page soon, do keep a look out.

We had the privilege to cover Annie Man‘s wedding, which happened to be the first celebrity wedding of the year (Hong Kong). It was held at the Four Season’s yesterday, 2nd March, and Jason and Annie convinced Chris himself to personally step in to cover their actual day. Along with Chief Wedding Day photographer Max Yeo, and the creative from our video team, Alvin (Bernard was also supposed to attend, but he had a Singapore wedding to cover), all the big guns were flown in from Singapore for their event. Everyone working with Jason and Annie felt that it was a breeze, and their personalities simply shone through the lenses.

Jason Lee is a businessman outside the film industry, and having dated Annie for 3 years, the dashing groom popped the question last year. What’s more, they have discovered they are already expecting a little one along the way!

The whole process had the paparazzi following Jason and Annie to their bridal fitting and photoshoots, something rather unheard of in Singapore. Therefore, we found it quite amusing to see our picture frames (which we provided to our boutique partner as part of our marketing exposure) on the internet.

We would like to thank Jason and Annie for engaging us to cover the milestones in their lives, and also to give our heartiest congratulations on their double happiness.
