Due to an increasing number of overseas bookings and enquiries, we have created an overseas photography promotion tab where we’ll update our latest overseas departure dates and promotional rates. Packages are applicable for both Hong Kong and Singapore clients. It’s now more convenient for everyone to check up on where we’re going and when we’re leaving. An international photoshoot sounds tempting doesn’t it?

We have 15 pairs of tickets to give away for Crown Plaza Singapore’s Wedding Showcase happening on the 18/4/10! Email us and the first 15 will have the tickets mailed over. Crowne Plaza Singapore at Changi Airport has invited us to attend their wedding showcase on 18/4/10. This time round, our parent company Chris Ling International will be participating together with CL Studio.

75 Airport Boulevard, 18/4/10 from 1pm to 5pm. Email enquiries(at)chrisling.com for tickets.

The airport does sound far to travel to, especially on a Sunday when most would prefer to be in town, but I would strongly recommend everyone to come by and view at their boutique styled interior and the forest canopy inspired ballroom. If anything else, take it as a weekend break and join us for an afternoon of food, drinks and chit chat. I do remember that our previous couple, Sean & Venme, booked the Crowne Plaza for their wedding. They were then entitled to shoot their pre-wedding photography by Chris on location in it’s contemporary deco. Makes for good photos:

Another event coming up would be LeGrand Wedding’s launch of their new season’s collection this Sunday, 11/4/10. Chris Ling International and Luxe Car Rental collaborated together to produce the Luxury concept shoot for their collection, one which focuses on “less is more”. Entry is free and all are welcome. The husbands can feast their eyes at the super car that will be on display and the brides can take their time to browse the collection.

79 Tanjong Pagar Road, 11/4/10 from 1pm to 5pm. RSVP LeGrand Wedding at 6327 8880.

Tji Hun & Xiao En had their photography done by Skyy, and we’re still in the midst of designing their album. We can’t wait to share those images with you once Skyy gets back from Japan and start working on their album. In the meantime, they have also requested for our customized invitation cards to be used for their big day, and they ended up printing all 3 versions. Which is your favorite?

Mem Morrison is a performance artist from the UK, his work revolves around much interaction with the community, wanting to bring the performances closer to home.

Ringside is a piece the National Museum of Singapore and British Council has brought in. It called for volunteers and yours truly agreed to participate. It being an act based on a wedding culture (Turkish to be exact) is purely coincidental, and I can’t divulge much more other then you’d have an eye opening experience to a unique type of theatrical display.

Tickets are priced at $30 on sale at Sistic. It runs from Thu 4th – Sat 6th of March at 8pm, with a Saturday matinée at 3pm.

Do find more information at The National Museum of Singapore’s events website here.

We’d like express our appreciation to our Hong Kong clients for choosing our studio during the previous Valentine’s fair. It’s wonderful to see quite a number choosing overseas shoots. Myself, I’d like to say a warm hello to Alice, Elaine and Vivian for visiting me at the booth and taking up our chief photographer packages. It was a pleasure meeting all of you!
More so when I can’t speak Cantonese and everyone was so accommodating conversing with me in English. We’ll keep in touch!
