Good wedding portraits don't need further words because the picture does all the talking.

The picture? Yes, three secrets to a successful wedding portrait or pre-wedding picture:

  1. Body language: The couple’s placement and imagined “movement” in the photo. The action that is frozen in time, such as an impending embrace.

  2. Eyes: Yes, the language of love is visually expressed through our not-so-obvious feature! One's eyes are a window into their inner state of mind.

  3. Expression: A pre-wedding album’s most notable qualities are the excellent emotional representation of the couple. They say fake it till you make it, but a good photographer will direct you accurately to bring out re-enactments of your happy times.

When you hire a professional to take your engagement photos, you can rest assured that you'll get stunning pictures from someone who enjoys what they do. It's a great way to put yourself on display. Pre-wedding photos are taken so friends and family at the wedding can get a sense of the couple's chemistry before or on the big day.

The art of the pre-wedding photographer is in his or her ability to guide the couple’s emotional expression such that it appears as though the couples are exploring a different self from their public image. It embodies the relationship they have, and it results in capturing what the couple is truly about as a dynamic duo. This is the power that can be captured through the photographer’s camera.

Where can you find examples of good wedding photography?

My take is that by not trying to make you seem a certain template, you'll be able to see sides of yourself and your partner's feelings that both have never seen before. After all, how often do you have an undetectable camera recording your chemistry from the sidelines? Unless you're dealing with a stalker, which is creepy rather than romantic, you'll never have that opportunity.

Taking wedding photos is more than just snapping pictures of the happy couple; it's also about capturing the raw emotions of the day on film and showing the world the amazing you through the most basic imagery. Yet, with that being said, trust me when I say that these most basic and simplest pre-wedding photographs, and stories, are the absolute hardest to capture. We are not taking selfies, wefies, or group photos, we are telling your story

You don’t need heavy designer makeup, you don’t need expensive props, and you don’t need an exclusive overpriced pay-as-you-use photography background or venue. Find a good photographer, capture your story, and you'll look better than a movie star.

Who are you?

Let our lens capture the expression of yourself.

Discover you who you haven't seen before, and discover your other self.

Every milestone in a person's life is worth remembering.
